  Not as inviting as when they first opened. The quality and taste of the food has changed. When we wanted to order and pay for spoon bread we were told we could not order extra even though we were willing to pay for it. This happened more than once. We use to eat there once a week but haven't been back in a couple months now.

  What a wonderful restaurant! We were lucky enough to happen upon here while shopping at a nearby store. We were vacationing in Onancock and had tried every restaurant in town. Kendall's was, by far, the BEST food we ate while we were there. The homemade cornbread is amazing. I had the half rack of ribs and had enough to take home and make pulled pork sandwiches for the next day. We returned several times during our stay. All of the food is cooked to order. You may wait a bit longer, but it is well worth the wait.
